In a reshuffle of the police administration, five senior police officials were given new postings on Sunday.
According to a Home Ministry notification, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Mohammad Abul Kashem of the Police Headquarters has been appointed the Additional IG (Current Charge) of the Police Headquarters.Superintendent of Police (SP) of Gaibandha district Md Mufazzel Hossain has been transferred to River Police as its SP, while he has been replaced by Special Police Super of Criminal Investigation Department Md Ashraful Islam.
DIG (Vice Principal) of Sardah Police Academy Md Sohrab Hossain has been appointed the DIG of Tourism Police.
Another notification said DIG (TR) of the Police headquarters Mosarraf Hossain has been transferred as Director (DIG) of the National Security Intelligence (NSI). – UNB
