Mohammad Shahid bagged four wickets conceding only 12 runs but still finished on the losing side as Rangpur Riders defeated Sylhet Super Stars by six runs in a tight match in the Bangladesh Premier League on Thursday.Batting first, Rangpur could only manage 109 in the stipulated 20 overs as only three of their batsmen reached double figures.Shakib Al Hasan was the top scorer with 33 while Thisara Perera made 21.Sylhet looked poised for their first win, but their batsmen failed to rise to the occasion again, leaving them to succumb to their third straight loss.Mominul Haque was their highest scorer (29) while skipper Mushfiqur Rahim (25) was not out when the match ended.Shakib bagged three wickets after some decent work with the bat, leading his team to the top.Rangpur have six points from four games now.
