Rishi Kapoor’s all praise for ‘Konttho’ trailer
The much-awaited trailer of Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s
next, ‘Konttho’, is out. The film that had piqued the curiosity of the
audience right since its poster was released, is receiving tons of
appreciation post the trailer launch. The film revolves around RJ Arjun
Mallik who is loved by millions. His world revolves around the radio and
his loving wife Pritha and son Tukai.
His ‘perfect’ life comes to a
screeching halt when he is diagnosed with laryngeal cancer due to
excessive smoking. He undergoes laryngectomy that costs him his voice,
which was not only the sole means of earning his livelihood but gave him
an identity too. As luck would have it, he gets introduced to Romila, a
speech therapist.
Will Arjun be able to make a comeback is what
Konttho all about which celebrates life, love and the indomitable human
spirit. Shiboprosad Mukherjee, who was last seen in his own directorial
Haami, is coming back to the big screen with a challenging role in
‘Konttho’. The trailer is already garnering heaps of praises and is the
love ballad, Shobai Chup, pictures on Paoli and Shiboprosad.
Rishi
Kapoor, who is recuperating in New York and has been rather irregular on
social media, took to Twitter to share his views on the trailer. The
veteran actor called it ‘very impressive’.
