Rajshahi – Rajshahi University Acting Registrar Professor M A Bari resigned at an emergency syndicate meeting chaired by Vice-Chancellor Professor M Abdus Sobhan on Thursday at around 11.00 am citing physical illness as the reason.
He submitted the resignation letter to the vice-chancellor on December 30.
Madar Bux hall provost professor Dr. Md. Abdul Alim informed this and said, University’s acting registrar professor M A Bari yesterday submitted a resignation letter to the vice-chancellor and and it was clered in the syndicate meeting.
RU VC professor M Abdus Sobhan on December 13 was informed by a letter signed by a senior assistant secretary of education ministry Nilima Afroz to take action to remove acting registrar M A Bari from the post. According to the letter, M A Bari misbehaved with UGC’s investigation committee. – RU Correspondent
