Rajshahi, May 11 – A female student of Mass Communication and Journalism department of Rajshahi University is infected with novel coronavirus from Mirpur-12 area of the capital at her own residence. The student confirmed this to the journalists on Monday afternoon. All members of her family had corona test after getting the result of her father was marked as corona positive as last Saturday. Later her result has come positive but her mother’s and brother’s results have come negative on Monday. The student admitted that she faces all symptoms of COVID-19.
Mass Communication and Journalism department chairman of RU Professor Abdullah Al Mamun said, We got the report about one of our department students getting infected with coronavirus. We will contact her family.
University proctor Professor Lutfor Rahman said, I knew the matter and tried to contact the student’s family. – RU Correspondent
