Emerging presenter Samia Afrin has on-boarded with Bangladesh Premier League with post-game show at Maasranga Television. The programme titled ‘PowerPlay’ gives insightful reviews after every match of Bangabandhu BPL in the participation of cricket experts. Bangladesh Cricket Board organised this edition of BPL marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Samia has gained an appreciation for her uniqueness in hosting lifestyle shows and mega cricket event like BPL. Regarding the program, Samia Afrin said the program hosting is passion and cricket event is always ‘special’ to me. “In cricket programme, we take good preparation as the host have to maintain accuracy in information. It’s an ultimate research-based work” she said.
Samia hoped the program ‘PowerPlay’ will bring a special experience to the cricket lovers with this exiting BBPL.
