The 175th meeting of the Board of Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) was held at its boardroom on July 21, 2013. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. A.K. Azad. The board approved a number of investment proposals and discussed various issues relating to policy matters of the Bank.
Among others Vice-Chairmen of the Board Alhaj Syed Nurul Arefeen and Directors Alhaj Akkas Uddin Mollah, Alhaj Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman, Alhaj Mohammed Solaiman, Alhaj Abdul Halim, Alhaj Mohammad Hasan, Alhaj Mohiuddin Ahmed, Alhaj Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Alhaj Khandoker Sakib Ahmed, Alhaj Mohammad Younus, Alhaj Abdul Barek, Alhaj Mohammed Farooq, Alhaj Tofazzal Hossain, Independent Director Mr. Mosharraf Hossain, Alternate Director Md. Masud, Managing Director Md. Abdur Rahman Sarker, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Abdul Jabber Chowdhury and Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir were present in the meeting.
