Shakib reaches landmark of 11,000 runs in international cricket

Dhaka – World number one all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh reached a landmark of 11,000 runs in all three formats (ODI, Test and T20) of international cricket and became the 2nd highest scorer for Bangladesh after Tamim Iqbal.

Shakib made the milestone scoring 75 runs off 84 ball featuring eight fours and a six against South Africa in the first ICC Cricket World Cup match at Oval on Sunday.

He scored total 11,070 runs from 326 international matches while Tamim Iqbal topped the list with 12592 runs from 327 matches.
Shakib earned the feat on Sunday smashing his 43rd ODI fifty and 6th in the World Cup Cricket.UNB
