Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) nominated cricket all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, archer Ruman Shana and national football team captain Jamal Bhuiyan for the KOOL-BSPA Best Player of the Year- 2019 award.
All three-star athletes — Shakib, Ruman, and Jamal – were also nominated for the KOOL-BSPA Popular Choice 2019 award along with South Asian Games gold medalists karate player Marzan Akter Priya, weightlifter Mabia Akhter Simanta and fencer Fatima Mujib.
The online voting for the Popular Choice 2019 award will be held from January 10 to 20 while the winners of two categories will be announced on January 24 in a function at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, said BSPA in a press release.
