Dhaka – Bangladesh’s trailblazing golfer Siddikur Rahman played a one-under opening in the US$300,000 UMA CNS Open Golf Championship at Karachi Golf Club in Pakistan on Thursday.Siddikur was flawless with trading one birdie for a one-under-par 71 and stayed a four-shot behind joint leaders Thai golfer Namchok Tantipokhakul and Pakistan’s Ahmad Baig as both set one shot leads on the opening day.
Two-time Asian Tour winner Siddikur shared the 17th place with nine other golfers after the first round inside 3534 yards course.UNB
