Six put on remand for impersonating as Customs officials

Dhaka, April 04 – A Dhaka court placed the six persons on a one-day remand each in a case filed for allegedly impersonating themselves as customs officials and grabbing money from different people putting them in trap.
Magistrate Abu Sufian Md Noman the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka passed the order when Darussalam Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) SM Alice Mahmud and also the Investigation Officer of the case, produced them in the court with a five-day remand.
The accused persons are Md Nurul Haque, 57, Md Sheikh Alam, 43, Md Firoz Alam, 57, Md Mosharraf Hosen, 54, Md Masud Rana, 43, and Md Renu Mia alias Roni, 38.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested six fake persons from Mirpur area in the city on Tuesday night. – Special Correspondent
