Soumya clinches his maiden Test fifty

Dhaka : Bangladesh batsman Soumya Sarkar scored his maiden Test fifty in the second Test against New Zealand at Hagley Oval, Christchurch on Friday. The 23-years-old batsmen managed 86 runs off 104 balls, firing 11 boundaries.From four Tests, Soumya Sarkar scored a total of 293 runs with the maiden fifty.Today’s 86- run is the highest score in Soumya’s Test career.  In today’s match, Soumya replaces Imrul Kayes to give company to Tamim in the opening pair.The left hand batsman made his Bangladesh Test debut against Pakistan at Khulna on April 28-May 2 in 2015.From 20 ODIs, the       Middle-order batsman scored 724, with one century and four half centuries.
