Dhaka – Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Wednesday announced a 12-man squad to face visiting Zimbabwe for a one-day practice match to be held at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) in Savar on Friday.Soumya Sarker, who is not in the main squad for Bangladesh’s three-match day-night ODI series against Zimbabwean, will lead the BCB XI in the practice match.
Zimbabweans are now on a tour to Bangladesh for three ODIs and two Tests against the host side.
The first ODI is scheduled to be held at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur on October 21 before the series moved to the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) in Chattogram for the next two matches on October 24 and 26.
The first Test will be held in Sylhet from November 3 to 7 followed by the second and final game from November 11 to 15 in Dhaka.
