Dhaka – South East University and International University of Business, Agriculature and Technology (IUBAT) advanced to the quaterfinals of the United Group Faraaz Inter-University Gold Cup Football Tournament eliminating their rivals at Kamalpur Stadium here on Thursday.
South East University overcame Daffodil International University by 7-6 goals in tie breaker as the match was locked in 1-1 goal in the stipulated period.
In the stipulaed time, Mobasir put South East University ahed in the 45th minute while Russell restored the parity for Daffodil University in the 50th minute.
In the day’s other match, IUBAT beat Independent University by a solitary goal scored by Filbin Ali in the 52nd minute.UNB
