Dhaka – A brilliant hat-trick by Shamim Mia enabled Jatrabari Krira Chakra to beat Sadharan Bima Krira Sangstha by 3-1 goals in the 13-team TVS Dhaka Metropolis Senior Division Football League 2018-19 at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Tuesday.
Shamim made a hat-trick scoring three goals in the 24th, 65th and 92nd minutes for Jatrabari KC while Sohag Mia netted the consolation goal for Sadharan Bima KS in the 50th minute.
In the day’s other match, Public Works Department (PWD) SC beat Mohakhali Eleven by 3-1 goals at the same venue.
Probal Sen Apu netted twice in the 22nd and 87th minutes and Jion Sarker scored the other goal for PWD SC in the 6th minute while Fazal Mahmud netted one lone goal for Mohakhali in the stoppage time (45+2 minute) of the first half.Bashabo Tarun Sangha will play Dhaka Wanderers Club on Wednesday at 3 pm at the same venue.UNB
