Dhaka – Sri Lanka took 1-0 lead in the two-test Joy Bangla Cup series with a huge 259-run victory against touring Bangladesh in the first match which ended on the 5th day at Galle International Stadium on Saturday.Bangladesh, which required 457 runs in the 2nd innings, resumed the innings with overnight score of 67/0 in 15 overs, but could not stay full two sessions on the final day as they were all out to finish the innings at 197 in 45.2 overs.Overnight batsman Soumya Sarkar faced two balls on the day and was bowled out by Asela Gunaratne without adding any run with previous day’s team total of 67 runs.
