Standard Chartered Bank has donated Tk 2,900,000 for the victims of Savar building collapse tragedy through the Association of Bankers Bangladesh (ABB).Jim McCabe, the CEO of the Standard Chartered Bangladesh, handed over a cheque of Tk 2,900,000 to ABB chief Mohammed Nurul Amin.
Standard Chartered Bangladesh has also taken up further initiatives to support these victims, said a press release on Tuesday.
“We want to support the victims and their immediate families. It’s our commitment to be here for good in Bangladesh; and this is one of the several initiatives that the Bank has taken to support our communities,” said Jim McCabe. UNB
