The key index at the country’s both bourses — Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) –- witnessed marginal fall on Thursday, the last trading day of the week. The DSE benchmark index, DSEX lost 4.65 points or 0.11 percent to reach 4127.48 at closing. Of the 288 issues traded, 103 gained, 158 declined and 27 remained unchanged. Shares worth Tk 540.72 crore changed hands on the day. The top 10 gainers at the DSE include Navana CNG, Usmania Glass, Heidelbarg Cement, Apex Spinnings, Modern Dying, ICB Islamic Bank, Style Craft, National Tube, Kohinoor Chemical and Safco Spinnings. The CSE key index, CSCX lost 3.02 points to reach 8053.58 at close of trading today. Of the 212 issues traded, 69 gained, 122 declined and 21 remained unchanged. The value of the issues traded was Tk 36.60 crore. – UNB
