Share prices at both the bourses of the country—Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — closed with high gain on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.The DSE benchmark index, DGEN gained 37.86 points or 1.02 percent to reach 3742.21 at close today. Of the issues traded, 225 gained, 35 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk. 168.19 crore were traded at the DSE on Thursday.
The CSE key index, CSCX also gained 64.24 points to close at 7007.50 points today. Of the issues traded, 132 gained, 33 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk. 18.07 crore changed hands at the CSE on the day. UNB
