T20I: Tigers collect 127/5 in 16.1 vs Sri Lanka

Dhaka, Apr 4 (UNB) – Bangladesh lost five quick wickets for 127 runs in 16.1 overs against Sri Lanka in first T20I of their two-match series under floodlights at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Tuesday.Mosaddek Hossain (20) was on batting when Mahmudullah Riyad came to pair him in the 6th wicket.  Shakib Al Hasan (11) was the last batsman left the ground after being caught by Asela Gunaratne off Seekkuge Prasanna’s bowling.Batting first after winning the toss, Bangladesh collected the figure with Soumya Sarkar top scoring 29 runs while Sabbir Rahman added 16.Opener Tamim Iqbal was bowled out by Lasith Malinga with duck in the very 2nd ball, leaving the team without collection.Soumya and Sabbir stayed better in the 2nd wicket of 57 in  4.5 overs before Sabbir was run out to leave the crease.Later, Mushfiqur Rahim (8) was bowled out by Asela Gunaratne at 70/4 in 8.2 overs.
