Tablig Biswa Ijtima 1st phase from Jan 13

Dhaka – The Bishwa Ijtem, second largest world Muslim’s congregation after the holy Hajj is going to be held on January 13 in 2017 at the bank of river Turag at Tongi in Gazipur city. It will be held with two phases. The first phase will be started on January 13 and it will be concluded on January 15. After four days of first phase, the second phase will be started on January 20 and ended on January 22.The Ijtema organizer sources said, over 70 percent of preparation works of the Bishwa Ijtema has already completed and the rest of works will be completed within 7 to 8 days. Engineer Mohammed Gias Uddin, one of the organizer ( Morubbi) of the Bishwa Ijtema said to the reporters , Insha-allah, we have already completed around 50 to 60 percent of development works of different catagories of the total preparation to hold the 52nd congregation. However, it is say to that about 70 percent of preparation has completed. We hope, the rest of preparation works will be completed within 7 to 8 days, Gias Uddin added. He also said that the members of Tablig Jamaat from different parts of the country are working after joined with us at Tongi Ijtema ground as voluntarily to complete the preparation work to hold a successful Ijtema.
However, devotees from Gazipur, Manikganj, Mymensingh, Tangail, Munshigonj, Gopalganj, Kishoreganj, Rangpur, Syedpur, Rajbari, Shariatpur, Dinajpur, Joypurhat, Lalmonirhat, Bandarban, Rangamati, Khagrachari, Chandpur, B-Baria, Noakhali, Hobiganj, Moulvibazar, Barisal, Naogaon, Pabna, Kustia, Chapainawabganj, Meherpur, Satkhira, Jessore and Bagerhat will participate at the first phase of the Ijtema.
Gazipur police sources said, a very tight security measures will be taken during Ijtema at the Tongi and Gazipur area. Superintendent of Gazipur police Harun Or Rashid said, it will be disclosed the total amount of law enforcers after January 01.
However, a total of 228 BRTC buses would ply on different routes for carrying the Ijtema devotees in this year. A press release signed by Deputy General Manager (DGM) of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) Mohammed Rafiqul Islam Talukder said on Wednesday last that among the buses, three buses will carry the foreign devotees from airport to Ijtema ground, 29 buses will ply from Abdullahpur to Motijheel via Ijtema ground, 13 buses will ply from Shibbari intersection to Motijheel via Ijtema ground, 17 buses will ply from Tongi to Motijheel, 6 buses will ply from Gazipur Chowrasta to Motijheel, 5 buses will ply from Gabtoli to Gazipur, 35 buses will ply Gabtoli to Mohakhali via Ijtema ground, 25 buses will ply from Gazipur to Motijheel via Ijtema ground, 20 buses will ply from Motijheel to Bipail of Savar via Ijtema ground, 20 buses will ply from Dhaka to Narayangonj, 20 buses will ply from Chittagong to Savar, 20 buses will ply from Dhaka to Narsingdi and 15 buses will ply from Dhaka to Comillah. He also said, two control room will be implemented at BRTC head office and Joarsahara depot to monitor and ensure the BRTC Ijtema service.
