Dhaka, Jan 6 – Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said the government may reopen the educational institutions in March, considering the situation upon consultation with experts.
Amid concerns that there could be a surge in Covid-19 cases in Bangladesh during the upcoming winter months, the government has again extended the closure of educational institutions until December 19, aiming to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
Dhaka, Sep 30 (UNB) – With no improvement in sight in the coronavirus situation, the government has decided to extend the closure of educational institutions to prevent the spread of the virus, said Education Minister Dipu Moni.
The government has extended the closure of all the educational institutions of the country until August 6 considering the worsening coronavirus situation.
Dhaka, May 31 – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday ruled out the possibility of opening educational institutions right now saying that students are the future of the country and the government does not want to put them at risk.
All the educational institutions will remain closed until June 15, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said Wednesday.
