Tahsan set to act in Farooki’s ‘No Land’s Man’

Celebrated singer and actor Tahsan Khan is set to star in Mostafa Sarwar Farooki’s upcoming feature film ‘No Land’s Man’. Tahsan will take up one of the lead roles in this film, which will be made in English language. Apart from being the producer, versatile Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will play the central role in the film. Besides, Australian theatre actor Megan Mitchell, to appear as female lead cast, will make her debut in big screen through ‘No Land’s Man’.
The film has already won funds from several international film festivals for its screenplay. ‘No Land’s Man’ was selected for Busan International Film Festival’s Asian Project Market in 2014. In the same year, it won the best project award from NFDC Film Bazaar, organised in India and won the script development fund, jointly given by the ‘Motion Pictures’ Association of America’ and ‘Asia Pacific Screen Award’. Having David Barker as the script consultant, Farooki himself wrote the story of the film.
The storyline of the film revolves around the journey of a South Asian man who is facing identity crisis. His journey becomes more complicated when he meets an Australian girl in the USA.
Popular actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha, spouse of Farooki, is going to produce and act in the film. Alongside Nawazuddin and Tisha; other producers are- award winning American filmmaker Shrihari Sathe, director of ‘Square Group’ Anjan Chowdhury and Mostafa Sarwar Farooki. Co-producer of the film is ‘Bongo’. Shooting of the film is expected to be started at the beginning of the forthcoming year. Shooting will take place at different locations of USA, Australia and India.
