Taiwan Masters: Siddikur shares 28th spot after 3rd round

Dhaka – Bangladesh’s golfer Siddikur Rahman slipped to joint 28th slot from 23rd after the 3rd round of the $800,000 Mercuries Taiwan Masters at the Taiwan Golf and Country Club on Saturday.Siddikur traded one birdie against three dismal bogies in the 3rd round to aggregate two-over-par 218, taking 11 shots more than the solo clubhouse leader Juvic Pagunsan of the Philippines.The two-time Asian Tour winner, Siddikur traded the day’s only birdie in the 6th hole before being turned down with a bogie to finish the 1st 9 while the 2nd session saw two bogies in the 10th and 17th holes.He shared the 28th place with John Michael O’toole of the USA.Siddikur was in a bit comfort zone aggregating an even-par 144 after the 2nd round. He made a shaky start in the tournament with one-over-par 72 on Thursday.UNB news agency
