India- Bangladeshi hard-hitting opener Tamim Iqbal has reached the landmark of 1000 runs in his 49th T20I match.He reached the milestone hitting a boundary in the 2nd ball of the first over of Ajay Lalcheta against Oman in the ICC World Twenty 20 Qualifiers in Dharamsala on Sunday.
Tamim Iqbal, who needed only 11 runs in the day’s match to reach the 1000-run club, is the highest run scorer for Bangladesh, is now batting with 29 runs off 19 balls featuring two fours and one six at Tigers’ 42 for 1 in 7 overs.(UNB)
