Tauquir, Nabila, Selim to star in new film on August 15

Masuma Rahman Nabila, Tauquir Ahmed and Shahiduzzaman Selim have been cast in the roles of late member of parliament Baby Moudud, one of four national leaders and Khandaker Mostak respectively in a new film detailing the tragedy of August 15, 1975.The film has been titled ‘1975-An Untold Story.’ Shapla Media’s Selim Khan is producing and directing it, while Shamim Ahamed Roni is in charge of co-ordination.
The film was being secretly shot at BFDC for the last 10 days. The news reached the press when Nabila, who made her film debut with Aynabaji, wrote about the project on Instagram.
She said: “With a scared heart, I have come outside home for shooting after 4 months because I couldn’t resist myself from being part of this project for 15th August!”
According to reports, Bappa Mazumder has already sung a song for the film, which was composed by Emon Saha.
Bangabandu or any of his family members will not be portrayed in the film.
