Teen who interrupted All-Star game may face a year in jail

Dylan McCue-Masone met the infield dirt of Citi Field during Tuesday’s All-Star game, after he ran onto the field and was tackled by stadium security. Now, in the ensuing days, the 18-year-old is also meeting the harsh reality of his actions.
McCue-Masone could face up to a year in jail and $6,000 worth of fines after he was arraigned on charges of interrupting a professional sporting event. He pleaded not guilty Wednesday and was released without bail. He’s due back in court on Sept. 11.
On Friday, McCue-Masone sent his first tweet since his Twitter-fueled dash onto the field and it sounded like that reality had set in for the teen:
The whole ordeal came after McCue-Masone told his Twitter followers he’d run on the field during the All-Star game if he got 1,000 retweets. He did, and then felt compelled to make good on his vow, detailing everything in a series in a tweets that have since been deleted.
