The district primary level students will get new books like other parts of the country on January 1, the first day of the New Year 2016.The sources said book distribution ceremony will be arranged at each of 548 schools in the district to handover books among the students.Assistant district education officer Ashraful Kabir said that required number of books will be distributed at all the government and registered non-government school students in the district.Meanwhile, 98 per cent books for all the primary schools in five upazilas of the district have already been reached, he added.He said in total of 4,76,964 books were sent to all the schools properly for distribution among one lakh eight thousand and 45 students on the first day of the new year. -BSS, Joypurhat
