Thai Food fesrtival at Amari Dhaka from Thursday

Dhaka – Amari Dhaka has recently announced the launch of its Thai food festival at its signature Asian restaurant, Amaya Food Gallery. The festival starts from 26th January, 2017, and will continue till the 5 th February, 2017.
Standard Chartered Bank is the prime partner, Bangkok Airways is the airline partner and Aarong is the lifestyle partner of the festival.Guest Chef Charakorn Chatchawat will be taking over the kitchen of Amaya Food Gallery, bringing his style of Siam Cuisine – a combination of four flavors: sweet, sour, salty and spicy. The event was inaugurated by H.E. Panpimon Suwannapongse, Ambassador, Royal Thai Embassy, Dhaka, Bangladesh as the chief guest, along with Mr. Abrar A Anwar, CEO, Standard Chartered Bank, Mr. Kintal Aulad, Deputy Sales Manager from Bangkok Airways, Mr. Mohammad Abdur Rouf, Chief Operating Officer, BRAC-Aarong and Tanvir Hossain, Assistant General Manager, Marketing & Sustainability, BRAC-Aarong. Kelly Lewis, General Manager of Amari Dhaka, along with other high officials were also presented during the inauguration ceremony.
Traditional Thai Cuisine will be served to the guests throughout the festival. Starting from Thod Mun Goong-shrimp cake, Gai Satay-chicken satay with peanut sauce, Gai Hor Bai Toey-fried chicken wrapped in pandan leaves as appetizer to the famous Tom Yum Seafood – spicy and sour seafood soup, Gai Tom Kamin – southern chicken stew with turmeric, Tom Kha Gai – chicken coconut milk soup and many more exciting authentic Thai flavour will whet the diners’ appetite.
The main course will include Gaeng Massaman Kaae – mutton massaman curry, Poo Phad Ton Hom – crab fried onion, Gai Phad Mad Mamuong – wok fried chicken with roasted cashew nuts, Mee Phad Kee Mao Goong-spicy stir fried flat noodle with prawn and holy basil leaves and Gai Haw Bai Toey – Fried marinated chicken wrapped in Pandan leaf and many more.
Fans of Thai curry and stir fried items can enjoy Gaeng Keaw Wan Pak Ruam-green curry with mixed vegetables, Phad Pak Boong Fai Dand-stir fried morning glory (kang kung), Khao Suay-steamed jasmine rice and many more exciting dishes are there.
There will live station were our celebrated Chef Khun boy will cook authentic Som-Tam Gai-Thod Kao-Hneaw- papaya salad, fried chicken, sticky rice, Khao Phad Tang Tang-fried rice with prawn, chicken, seafood, Gai, Goong, Kaae Num Jim Satay- chicken, prawns, lamb served with peanut sauce specially for you. Give your meal a finishing touch with Tua Keaw Num Kati-mung bean with coconut milk, Woon Kati-coconut milk jelly, Fak Thong Sang Khaya-egg custard in pumpkin and many more.
