DHAKA – Three matches of the ‘Mujib Barsho‘ Services Kabaddi league were decided on the opening day (Saturday) at Kabaddi Stadium in the city.
On the day, Bangladesh Navy beat Bangladesh Fire Service by 64-22 points, Bangladesh Jail defeated Bangladesh Army by 30-27 points and Bangladesh Police outclassed Bangladesh Air Force by 30-29 points.
Earlier, Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation vice president and International Kabaddi Federation treasurer freedom fighter Amir Hossain Patowari formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
A total of six teams are taking part in the league, orgainsed by BKF. The league is being held to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
