A tourist drowned while taking bath in Sahasradhara lake at Sotodarogarhat in Sitakunda Upazila of Chattogram on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Mahfuz bin Iqbal, 26, son of Jafar Iqbal.
Shariful Islam, the station officer of Sitakunda Fire Service, said a team of six tourists, including Iqbal, was bathing in the lake.
At one stage he drowned.
His body was found by the divers at 5 pm, he said. – UNB
