Mymensingh, Nov 7 – An-eight day-long annual training programme titled ‘Training on Agriculture in the Changing Climate’ of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) campus reporters of various national dailies and online newspapers was inaugurated at Interdisciplinary Institute for Food Security (IIFS) conference room on Friday morning. At the inaugural programme BAU Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Jasimuddin Khan was the chief guest while BAU Research System (BAURES) director Professor Dr Md Abu Hadi Nur Ali Khan, Proctor Professor Dr Md Azharul Hoque and general secretary of Mymensingh Press Club Sheikh Mohiuddin Ahmed were special guests.
Director Interdisciplinary Institute for Food Security (IIFS) Professor Dr Abusaleh Mahfuzul Bari was the chief patron. Associate director of IIFS Professor Dr Harunur Rashid presided over the programme.
17 campus reporters of various national dailies and online newspapers are taking part in the training programme. The training programme ended on 15 November. – BAU Correspondent
