U-16 Women’s Football: Mymensingh, Lalmonirhat make flying start

Dhaka – Lalmonirhat and Mymensingh districts made flying start in the eight-team final round of the BFF-UnicefU-16 (Talent Hunt) National Football Championship that began on Saturday at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur here.

In the day’s first match, Poly Akhter guided Mymensingh to make a good start outplaying Rangamati district by 4-0 goals.

Poly made the first hat-trick in the tournament scoring three goals in the 10th, 35th and 59th minutes while Nahida Parvin netted the other goal in the 39th minute for Mymensingh.

In the day’s 2nd match, Lalmonirhat, riding on a hat-trick by Liza, crushed Gopalganj District by a huge 7-0 goals.

Liza completed the 2nd hattrick, also scoring three goals in the 27th, 29th and 39th minutes while Ania, Monaki, Champa and Asma netted the remaining goals for Lalmonirhat.UNB
