Dhaka – Hosts Rajshahi District emerged zonal champions to reach the final round of the BFF-Unicef U-16 National Women’s Football Championship eliminating Naogaon District by massive 5-0 goals in the regional final at the Muktijoddha Smrity District Football Stadium in Rajshahi on Sunday.
Rima and Panchami netted two goals each while Farida scored the remaining goal for hosts Rajshahi.
At the Rangpur District Football Stadium, Dinajpur District defeated Panchagarh District by 7-2 goals in the day’s first match while Lalmonirhut District beat Thakurgaon District by 4-0 goals in the day’s 2nd match.
