U-18 Asia Cup: Pakistan makes flying start beating Taipei 6-1

Dhaka  – Favorite Pakistan made a flying start in the Beximco 4th Boys’ Under-18 Asia Cup Hockey’2016 outplaying Chinese Taipei by 6-1 goals at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium here on Saturday.The winners led the first half by 2-1 goals.Khan Amjad Ali and Latif Adeel struck two goals each while Ali Waqar and Aziz Ali netted one each for the winners. the consolation goal for Chinese Taipei,AP/UNB News Reported.Ali Waqar put Pakistan ahead in the very 1st minute by a field goal 1-0 while Huang Po Chuan leveled the margin for Chinese Taipei in the 6th minute by a penalty corner (1-1) Khan Amjad Ali scored two consecutive goals in the 35th and 48th minutes while Latif Adeel added two more goals in the 38th and 59th minutes respectively for Pakistan.Aziz Ali sealed the fate of the match in the 60th minute also by a field goal (6-1) In day’s another match, China outplayed Hong Kong China by 6-0 goals at the same venue.
