Dhaka – Tangail and Thakurgaon district teams reached into the semifinals of the JFA Under-14 National Women’s Football Championship after beating their rivals at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamlapur on Saturday.In the day’s match, Tangail outplayed Rajshahi by 4-0 goals where Rehana found the net twice in the 35th and 70th minutes. Mahfuza and Shaheda scored one goal each in the 22nd and 37th minutes
Thakurgaon got a 3-0 win against Magura in another match as Kakoli, Kolpona and Ayrin scored one goal each in the 48th, 50th and 58th minutes for the winners respectively.
In the semifinals on Sunday, Tangail will face Rangpur while Thakurgaon play against Khulna. Both semifinals will be held at the same venue.UNB
