Dhaka – A double hat-trick plus one struck by Sopna spurred Rajshahi District Team cruise past Manikganj District Team by 12-1 goals in the final round of the JFA Under-14 National Women’s Football Championship in Group A encounter at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.Sopna scored in the 4th, 35th, 36th, 39th, 50th, 58th and 65th minutes while Taslima added two goals scoring in the 60th and 70th minutes. Haki, Madhurzo and Shamoli scored one goal each in the 9th, 21st and 43rd minutes to helm the eight-team final round in a style.Munni scored the only goal for hapless Manikganj in the 26th minute.Meanwhile, Thakurgaon District Team defeated Rajbari District Team by 5-0 goals in the opener where Kalpana made a hat-trick (22nd, 31st and 65th minutes) with three goals and Bithika added (51st and 58th minutes) two goals for the winners at the same venue.UNB news agency
