Dhaka – Afrana Islam Prity and Popy Akter of BKSP advanced to the women’s singles semifinals of the Euro Group-UCL National and Inter-Club Tennis Tournament eliminating their rivals here on Thursday.In the day’s quarterfinals, Afrana Islam Prity beat Rinvi Akter of BKSP by 6-1, 6-1 games while Popy Akter outplayed Zerin Sultana of BKSP by 6-1, 6-0 games,UNB News Agency Reported.In the men’s singles, Omol Roy beat Hasibul Haque (6-1, 6-3), Delwar Hossain defeated Munir Hossain (6-4, 6-4), Rubel Hossain outplayed Selim Hossain (6-3, 6-1), MD Istiak crushed Shajib Pashi (6-3, 7-6), Alamgir Hossain beat Akhter Hossain (6-1, 6-1), Mamun Bepary defeated Arif Hossain (3-6, 6-1, 6-3), Milon Hossain outplayed Faruk Hossain (6-4, 2-6, 6-4) and Dipu Lal beat Hanif Munna by 6-3, 6-2 games and reach the quarterfinals.
