The Surgical Strike is directed by debutant director Aditya Dhar. The film has been received phenomenally well at the box-office. Starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam, the film is a dramatised version of the surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army in 2016. The film is in its fourth week currently and has now entered the Rs 200 crore club.
During its first week Uri earned Rs 71.26 crore, while in its second and third week it earned Rs 99.79 crore combined. And now in its fourth week the film has earned Rs 29.02 crore and counting. Making the grand total a whopping Rs 200.07 crore. The film is the first blockbuster of 2019 and has received good reviews from all ends. Well, take a bow team Uri, reports ANI.
