Dhaka – The Walton Refrigerator Victory Day Hockey Tournament 2019, organized by Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF), begins on Saturday (December 7) at the Maulana Bhashani National Stadium here.
Six club teams will participate in the tournament. Champions team will receive prize money of Tk 1,00,000, runners-up team will get Tk 50,000, best player and highest scorer will receive Tk 10,000 each.
BHF member cum tournament secretary Badrul Islam Dipu disclosed the details of the tournament at a press conference at the federation conference room on Thursday.
BHF vice presidents AA Adel, Zaki Ahmed Ripon, Yousuf Ali and acting general secretary Mohammad Yousuf and executive director of the meet’s sponsor Walton Group Iqbal Bin Anwar were also present on the occasion. UNB
