Dhaka – The Walton Independence Day Volleyball Tournament will begin at Dhaka Volleyball Stadium on Tuesday.Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russel will inaugurate the meet, organized by Bangladesh Volleyball Federation.Bangladesh Army will play Power Development Board (PDB) in the inaugural match at 3 pm on the day.General Secretary of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation Ashiqur Rahman Miku disclosed these at a press conference held at Dhaka Volleyball Stadium on Monday.Nine teams, split into two groups, will compete in the nine-day meet. On completion of the group matches on March 27, two top teams from each of the group will play in the semifinals on March 28 and the final match will commence on March 29. Participating teams Group A: Bangladesh Army, Power Development Board, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Bangladesh Jail Group B – Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Police, Fire Service & Civil Defense and Titas Club
