Narail, Oct 17 (UNB) – A seven-year-old boy was found dead at a water body at Singa village in Lohagara upazila on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Ramzan, a grade one student and son of Ilias Sheikh of the village. Mokarram Hossain, officer-in-charge of Lohagara Police Station, said Ramzan went to school in the morning and did not return home till afternoon.
After a hectic search, locals found his body floating in water.On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy.Police said the body bore several injury marks.
