Zamal finishes joint 32nd in Panasonic Open

Dhaka – Bangladeshi golfer Zamal Hossain Mollah finished joint 32nd in the $400,000 Panasonic Open India which concluded at Delhi Golf Club on Sunday.Zamal aggregated two-under-par 286, staying 15 shots back of the title winner Shiv Kapur of India, from four rounds to share the place with five other golfers.Shiv Kapur clinched the title for the first time with 3 strokes ahead of the joint runners-up Chirgah Kumar, Ajeetesh Sandhu, Karandeep Kochhar, SSP Chowrasia, Sudhir Sharma, Om Prakash Chouhan of India and Paul Peterson (USA).In the final round, Zamal birdied four against three bogies for one-under-par 71 that lifted him up to joint 32nd from joint 36th.Zamal started the final round with previous collection of one-under-par 215, having four-over-par 76 in the 3rd round, following the two-under-par 70 and the three-under-par 69 in the second and first rounds respectively.UNB news agency
