Zamal goes down in 3rd round of Panasonic Open

Dhaka – Bangladesh golfer Zamal Hossain Mollah slipped down to the joint 36th from joint 10th after the penultimate round of the $400,000 Panasonic Open India at Delhi Golf Club on Saturday.Zamal aggregated one-under-par 215 — twelve shots back of joint leaders Shiv Kapur (India) and Paul Peterson (USA) — from three rounds and was sharing the 36th spot with seven other golfers.Zamal traded two sweet birdies – one in each 9 – against six dismal bogies – two in first 9 and four in last 9 — in the 3rd round of four-over-par 76, following the two-under-par 70 and the three-under-par 69 in the second and first rounds respectively.He started the tournament with a perfect note to share the 14th slot after the first round.UNB news agency
