At least 100 workers of a garment factory fell sick from food poisoning at Nischintapur in Ashulia Saturday night.
The workers were admitted to different clinics and hospitals.
Garment sources said the night shift workers of Nasa Basis limited were given banana, bread and cakes as snacks.
“After taking the snacks, workers started vomiting and some of them fell onto the floor for extreme abdominal pain,” said workers.
