Door-to-door medicine delivery service opens in Chittagong

In a bid to mitigate the sufferings of the residents amid the pandemic, the Kotwali Police Station has introduced ‘My Pharmacy’, a door to door medicine delivery service in the district.

People can avail the opportunity after making a phone call to a hotline and the medicine will be provided with 15 percent commission.

Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police, SM Mehedi Hasan inaugurated the service on Tuesday.

Deputy Commissioner of CMP police said, “The initiative was taken to mitigate the sufferings of people on humanitarian grounds and it will provide service for the residents of Chattogram. Anyone can get the service after making a phone call at the hotline number.01870700700 with 15 percent commission.”

Bike Stunt group ‘BM Riders’, a volunteer organisation will implement the initiative and 20 volunteer workers of the organisation will work round the clock, he said.

People must show their prescription, prescribed by a doctor, while receiving the delivery, he added.
