Pak cricketers not to play

He told a news conference at Mirpur Cricket Stadium that the Pakistani cricketers had failed to get clearence from their national board within the deadline set by the Bangladesh Cricket Board.

The deadline expired at 10am Wednesday and the organisers said they were ready to let 2nd edition of Bangladesh Premier League go ahead without the Pakistani players. “Pakistani cricketers are not coming. Even if they come now, they won’t be allowed to play,” Hassan told the news conference.
“Competent local cricketers will replace them and the BPL will begin on schedule. There is no scope for change now.”
