Police arrested a schoolteacher on Friday night from Kanaikhali area in the town on charge of making derogatory comments against Shafiqul Islam Shimul, lawmaker from Natore-2 constituency, and his wife on social networking site Facebook.Officer-in charge of Sadar Police Station Mizanur Rahman said Tasnuva Rahman Mitu, a teacher of Natore Government High School, downloaded a picture of Shafiqul Islam Shimul and his wife from Facebook.
Later, she uploaded the picture on Facebook after distorting it and placing a comment on it.Advocate Sayem Hossain filed a case against Mitu with Sadar Police Station on Friday afternoon.After the case was filed, police arrested Mitu from Kanaikhali area in the town around 10.30pm. -UNB, Natore
