Ten people, including two women, were arrested while they were
allegedly trying to enter India illegally through Jululi and Jadabpur
borders in Maheshpur upazila on Friday.
The arrestees hail from different areas of Rajbari, Manikganj and
Jessore districts.
Nayek Subeder Abdul Mannan, BGB commander of Jululi camp, said a team
of Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) arrested nine people, including two
women, from Magdashpur area on Jululi border at about 3.00pm while
they were going to India without any valid documents.
On the other hand, a team of Jadabpur BGB arrested one person from
Gopalpur area on Jadabpur border at about 4.00pm for trying to go to
India illegally.
BGB handed them over to the Maheshpur Police Station.
