Dhaka – At least 10 houses were gutted in a fire at Shalban Guchchhagram village in Panchbibi upazila in Joypurhat on Saturday night.Touhidur Rahman, an officer at Panchbibi Fire Service Station, said the fire originated from candlelight at a house around 9.30pm and it soon engulfed nine adjacent houses.On information, firefighters rushed in and doused the blaze with the help of local people. – UNB news agency
